不知道為什麼有些格友對頭香特別有興趣,反正有人有興趣就放個排行榜吧.盜來一張相片,贈給冠軍,因為他碎碎念沒有獎品.

 

 

要向大家說明這個排行榜不代表什麼意義,如果有的話,只代表大家沉迷網路的程度+來這邊的歷史長短+作息時間的安排+...,其實還有很多常來的格友也沒上榜呢.

Farewell to Dusan

Dusan was my partner in my previous job. We were building one of the new MRT systems in Taipei. Dusan was representing the engineering side while I was representing the procurement side to deal with the same subcontractor together.

 

Dusan is a very expreienced engineer with the sound knowledge in the technical field as well as the well management skill. That is why he is playing a key role in our project. It must be a big loss to the project with his leaving but I would be glad for him that he could have his new development in his career.

 

When I joined that project in early 2004, Dusan occupied the cubic next to mine at the first few days. At that time he is still a visitor supporting from overseas with the frequent trips to Taiwan. I remenbered one of our earliest conversation was his interest to learn the Chinese. He was born in Czech Republic and settled to French Canada later. He told me that one morning he woke up and realized he could understand the French suddenly. He could understand the French word by word which was speaking in the TV and the movie in a sudden over the night. He must look for the miracle to learn Chinese in this way. There are still two nights before his leaving. I don't know if he prays such a miracle to happen.

 

Besides trying to get used to the local language, culture and life, Dusan is also interested in the outdoor activities. He likes the mountain climbing and doing the physical excercise. You won't believe that he still participates the marathon in Taiwan from time to time at the age of being a grandpa. He also joined the company drangon boat team in 2006 as shown in the below photo.

 

 

Our first son, David (子安) was delivered one month after I joined the project. According to the local customs, I treated all the colleagues with the oiled rice and the red eggs at the full month birthday of David. Dusan printed out my son's photo and wrote down his blessing as below.

 

 

I am sorry that I left the project earlier than he and could not work with him for a longer period. We talked pleasantly for a while in May when I returned to the office in one late evening to take the insuance record from the other colleague for the tax deduction. I could sense that his jobs were not easy at that moment. Thus I should be happy for him to have a new job but it is still a pity to see his leaving Taiwan.

 

Best wishes to Dusan. Take care and enjoy your life as usual no matter where you are.

暫別部落格

2008年8月7日重新回來看先前的文章，或許我應該默默的走開‧

因為老婆不喜歡我花太多時間在部落格，而忽略了家庭和家人，還留些奇怪的留言和回應給所謂的"陌生人"(對我而言，這些人是"朋友"啦)，所以我決定暫時離開這裡，多花點時間陪陪我兒子了‧

 

另一方面，我自去年來苦悶的心情，雖然一直揮之不去，但我想我也應該改變了，不要把自己躲在網路的世界中旁觀周遭的點點滴滴，而有點冷淡地去面對和自己的家庭生活‧這兩天我覺得自己好像又有點開始喜歡老婆了‧這對一年前的我來說，是不可能有這樣的心情的‧反而是離去的念頭，常是鼓舞我繼續生活下去的主要動力‧這幾天，這樣的想法好像有點動搖‧

 

當然我還是會想有一顆自由夢想的心，不過或許該把夢藏在內心好好的保護就好‧

 

我想要謝謝在這段時間陪在我身邊的你們，你們在部落格的分享真的很棒，或許我不會再去看您‧但請容我在這邊祝福你們‧

老劉的南庄小木屋

今天收到了以前在飛利浦工作同事老劉的電子郵件，郵件的標題是人間仙境，打開內容一看，是很多張老劉在他自己南庄小木屋拍得相片‧現在那裡的櫻花開得很美麗，從郵件的標題來看，老劉顯然對自己的小木屋非常滿意‧

 

我在飛利浦當工程師時，老劉是生產線上的領班‧當時大家除了在工作上配合之外，偶而下班時，大家也會一起聚餐喝個酒‧當時這些生產線上的同事都很愛和我喝酒，因為我總是很阿沙力的一口就把一杯啤酒喝完，他們都蠻欽佩的‧當然現在我又老十歲了，已經沒有當年的實力了‧

 

後來飛利浦在新竹的工廠關了，幾年後在沈廠長的喪禮上遇見老劉，老劉那時興奮的告訴我，他在南庄買了一塊地，蓋了一棟小木屋，價格並不算貴，但是每個周末都必須上山當農夫，去整理花園，順便在那兒休閒渡假‧

 

那時老劉常在周末約了同事一齊上山渡假，我和老婆也去參加過一次，不過沒有在那兒過夜‧老劉從三灣叫了客家菜送上來，還備了一堆啤酒，大家不免又吃喝了一頓，不過他們也都看出來，我的酒量沒有當年的勇猛了‧

 

自從那次南庄一聚到現在大概也四年還沒再見過老劉了‧但是常常還是會收到老劉轉寄的郵件‧這次收到老劉自己小木屋的相片，還真的令人懷念起以前的一段時光‧

離職餞行

同事魯意絲和小馬，前幾週提議要幫我的離職餞行送別‧因為我實在不喜歡和人交際應酬，所以提議和他們一齊到我常去散步的步道野餐‧等到今天總算雨過天青可以成行了‧他們也約了山姆一塊參加‧大尾本來臨時也要加入，卻因忘記帶手機而作罷‧

 

 

大家在步道上的"老地方"吃些麵包，水果‧同時照了一些相片‧山姆還發現樹旁有松鼠‧原來是有人刻意在這邊放飼料，吸引他們來聚‧

 

 

在這邊用餐後，我們又到了步道上的觀景台，照了合照，同時看看風景‧

 

 

真的很謝謝這些可愛的同事們帶給我一個快樂的午後‧我會珍惜你們珍貴的友誼‧

有朋自遠方來

 

上星期接到一通意外的電話，久未聯絡的大陸筆友曉蕊打電話來，說她現在正在台灣‧她和她的先生來台灣參加建材展覽，後天就要回大陸了‧說實在的，他們也真厲害‧我們已經大約十年沒聯絡了，拜搜尋引擎所賜，他們先搜尋到我們公司去年報名的龍舟隊名單上有我的名字，但是我們的龍舟隊名並沒有使用公司名稱，可是他們還是有辦法輾轉地取得我們公司的名字和電話‧不過因為我年底的一週都請休假，加上大陸口音的詐騙電話頻頻，所以公司內沒有人敢給他們我的聯絡電話‧直到一月初，他們不捨得努力下，才在回大陸前，從同事伊頓那裡拿到我的電話‧據曉蕊的先生麥可表示，曉蕊已經利用網際網路的搜尋功能找到很多以前久未聯絡的同學‧我忘了問他們，不知道我是不是最難找的一位‧

 

當初認識曉蕊是透過愛爾蘭國際筆友會‧加入他們的會員，就會得到一張十個人的名單，同時你的資料也會被分配到另外十個會員‧當初最常聯絡的除了曉蕊之外，還有匈牙利的Rita和日本的Miho，不過曉蕊是其中聯絡最久的一位，因為我們的年齡接近，雙方都正在就讀兩岸有名的學校，再加上彼此的文化相近但又有差異，所以還蠻有話聊的‧大家一直從大二左右聯絡到彼此都工作了，才逐漸停止聯絡‧

 

曉蕊的文筆很好，她還曾經寄給我她在雜誌上發表的文章‧有次她不知道為什麼提到她的英文名字，我告訴她我沒有英文名字，她就幫我建議了一個，那個英文名字我還用到現在呢‧

 

這麼好的朋友來訪，雖然很久沒聯絡了，總是要招呼一下，因此在他們回大陸前唯一合適的時間，我們接待他們到壹咖啡一起用餐聊聊天‧很高興知道他們都過得很好，仿古藝術品的生意很成功‧小孩也已經十二歲了‧希望他們在成功之餘，日後能有多點時間和家人一同享受他們成功的成果‧

大阪府豐中市的人孔蓋 Street Cover at Toyonaka, Osaka

 

日前在Yahoo部落格上看到了日本街上美麗的人孔蓋，蓋上的圖案就像是藝術品一樣‧不過更另我驚訝的是，其中有一個相片是大阪府豐中市的人孔蓋，於是便將這個部落格網頁轉給住在豐中市的日本朋友安由里和裕之‧

 

I happened to see a blog in Yahoo describing the beautiful street cover in Japan. To my surprise, one of the photo in the blog was taken in Tokonaka, Osaka where our friends Ayuri and Hiroyuki live. Thus I forwarded that web page to them.

 

安由里對蓋上的鱷魚圖案的解釋是，聽說在很久很久以前，他們的城市位於海底，因此在城市中發現了一些鱷魚骨頭‧人孔蓋上的鱷魚是他們城市的吉祥物‧

 

Ayuri told me about the crocodiles print on the street cover that there lived crocodiles in their city. She heard, long long time ago, their city was under water  (sea). Thus some crocodiles bones have been found here.  The crocodile on the cover is their city's mascot.

 

安由里和裕之是我們在Virtualtourist網站認識的朋友，他們喜歡接待造訪大阪的Virtualtourist網友，到各地旅遊也詢問當地網友聚會的可能‧2005年的元旦，他們來台灣旅遊 ‧我們約在中正紀念堂見面，然後大家散步經過凱達格蘭大道，228紀念公園到新光摩天大樓觀景台 ‧之後在Sogo樓上的崇軒用了晚餐，崇軒搬到敦化新館後，服務好像蠻差的，但菜色仍然不錯‧不過也因此沒什麼客人，所以大家吃得蠻盡興的‧用完餐後，我們就先離開了‧另一位網友繼續帶他們到士林夜市續攤‧說真的，我還蠻佩服安由里的食量‧

 

Ayuri and Hiroyuki were our friends meeeting in a travel website called Virtualtourist. They like to receive the VTers visiting their city, Osaka. When they travel around the world, they also try to meet the local VTers. We met them in the New Year holidays of 2005 when they visited Taiwan. We first met at the CKS memorial hall and had a walk along the street and 228 peace park to the Shin Kuang Observatory Tower. Then we had the dinner at Sogo. The service of the restaurant was not so good. However the food was delicious. Thanks to the bad service, the guests were few so we had a quite pleasant dinners. After the dinner, another VTer in Taipei took them to the Shihlin Nightmarket for the second dinner. I have to admire that Ayuri is really a big eater.

 

2005年11月我的同事莎拉去關西旅遊時，安由里和裕之還招待了她吃日本料理和洗公共溫泉浴室喔，我們也拖莎拉帶了台灣茶葉去給他們，他們也很高興喔‧

 

My colleague Sara visited Kansai area in November 2005. Ayuri and Hiroyuji also received her eating the typical Japanese food at a Japanese casual restaurant (Izakaya). After dinner, they went to a Hot Spring Public Bath "Yuraku". We also requested Sara to bring the Tawanese tea to Ayuri and Hiroyuki. They were quite happy with the taste of the tea.

Meg的北島隨筆

 

I heard that my good friend, Meg, loved to write as well as to eat the fishes. Today I finally saw a good essay from her regarding her life in the New Zealand.

 

Her writing is no only fluent to read but also proper to express her feelings through the daily lives.

 

I am looking forward to reading more good articles from her.
